2. Services Provided

BIBIVOX Speech Pathology offers professional speech therapy services tailored to the individual needs of each client. We work with clients of all ages to support your communication goals. 

3. Appointment Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement between the client and our practice. We strive to accommodate your preferred times and dates but may adjust schedules based on therapist availability.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

To ensure a fair and efficient practice for all clients, we ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment to other clients on our waiting list.

• Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice: If you cancel an appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee of 100% of the session fee will be charged. This is in the event that you are not able to reschedule the appointment. 

• Rescheduling an appointment: If you wish to reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If rescheduling is not possible within the same week or as an additional session, the cancellation fee will apply.

5. Cancellation Fees

If an appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled session, or if we are unable to reschedule within the same week or provide an alternative session, the cancellation fee of 100% of the session fee will apply. This fee is charged due to the limited availability of appointment slots and the preparation time required by the therapist.

6. Late Arrivals

If you arrive late to an appointment, we will still endeavour to provide as much service as possible within the remaining time. However, late arrivals may result in a reduced session time and no reduction in the session fee.

7. Payments

Payments for services are due at the time of the session, unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payment via cash, TyroHealth, bank transfer, and other methods as outlined by BIBIVOX Speech Pathology. Receipts will be provided for all payments.

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

All client information and therapy records are confidential and will only be shared with third parties if authorised by the client or as required by law. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

9. Insurance and Medicare

If you are eligible for Medicare or private health insurance rebates, we will provide you with the necessary receipts for claim purposes. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that claims are processed in a timely manner.

10. Professional Conduct

BIBIVOX Speech Pathology adheres to the professional standards and ethical guidelines set by Speech Pathology Australia. We are committed to delivering high-quality care in a respectful, professional manner. 11. Liability

While we take every precaution to provide quality care, BIBIVOX Speech Pathology cannot accept liability for any outcomes arising from the services provided, beyond those outlined in our ethical obligations under Speech Pathology Australia’s Code of Ethics.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

BIBIVOX Speech Pathology reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients and will apply to services provided after the date of modification.
